Please read these terms of use carefully before using the website and purchasing an experience or gift card.
By using this website, you accept the terms and conditions. If you don’t accept these terms, you should not book any of the offered tours.

Conditions

It is your responsibility to check the dates and time correspond to your order.
Tour leaves rain or shine.
Experiences’ descriptions are indicated as examples. Stops or tastes may vary depending on the season, day of the week, and group size. Please note that a shop might be closed for some reason and will be replaced.

Price

The price indicated corresponds to the guide’s fees and food and beverages as per described on the tour.
The price is indicated in euros on the page of each experience and doesn’t include taxes for people living abroad or companies based in a different contry.
VAT will be added for people living in France and french companies.
The price may be subject to change and variation. Once a booking is paid and confirmed, the price won’t be modified for the customer.
In order to book and purchase an experience, you are required to follow the process indicated on the website.
It is your responsibility to check the dates and time correspond to your order.

Payment options

The total amount is paid upon booking.
Payment should be done in euros currency.
Payment is handled separately and securely through Paypal. Your payment card details are not collected by Cheeetastinginparis.com

Late arrivals

It is recommended for the clients to arrive 15 minutes before departure. Late arrivals affect the experience and the guide will have to make a shorter tour. There are no refund if clients get late and miss part of the tour and explanations because of a shorter tour.

Cancellation policy

Cheese tasting with wine :

To receive a full refund, you must cancel more than 7 days before the start time of the experience.
The cancellation deadline is based on the time zone of the experience.

Cheese tasting with champagne :

To receive a full refund, you must cancel more than 2 weeks before the start time of the experience.
The cancellation deadline is based on the time zone of the experience.

Pack strong flavored cheese :

To receive a full refund, you must cancel more than 48 hours before the start time of the experience.
The cancellation deadline is based on the time zone of the experience.

Food tour in Montmartre :

To receive a full refund, you must cancel more than 2 weeks before the start time of the experience. The cancellation deadline is based on the time zone of the experience.

Food tour the only street in Paris from Elaine Sciolino :

To receive a full refund, you must cancel more than 2 weeks before the start time of the experience. The cancellation deadline is based on the time zone of the experience.

Food tour Paris’ food from Julia Child to new trends :

To receive a full refund, you must cancel more than 2 weeks before the start time of the experience. The cancellation deadline is based on the time zone of the experience.

Custom private tour :

To receive a full refund, you must cancel more than 2 weeks before the start time of the experience. The cancellation deadline is based on the time zone of the experience.
Clients who are booking tours for the day of their arrival in Paris should be aware that I do not offer refunds in the case of delayed flights or trains.

Refunds

We will notify you if a tour is cancelled or rescheduled to the email address you used to make the booking. No refunds will be given for clients who arrive more than 10 minutes late or don’t show up at all. Tours run rain or shine.
Refund will be done through Paypal.

Gift certificate

Gift certificates can be purchased with the amount you would like.
You will receive a gift card with a code personalized with the names of your guests. It is not limited in time but subject to availability.
Your family or friends can use it to book a tour when they come to Paris. If they come during the high season it is better to book ahead.

Safety

Experiences include admissions to third party venues, including restaurants and shops. You shall comply with all policies, procedures and safety announcements.

Transportation

You are responsible for arranging all transportation to and from the experience.

Legal age for alcohol consumption

Alcohol won’t be served to people under 18 years old.

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under this agreement that is caused by an event outside our control including without limitation pandemic, strikes, riot, terrorist attack, war, storm, flood, earthquake, other natural disaster. If an event outside our control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations to you, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you and reschedule an experience.

Legal

These Terms are governed by french law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of any dispute in the french courts.

Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health and should be consumed in moderation.

For your health, eat 5 fruits and vegetables a day.
